Picked pocket at Wisma Merdeka

I just have to share this.. please read... and share if u have any experience...

Yesterday, lil C and I went shopping at Wisma Merdeka. Well, we arrived around 11.30am and decided to have light meal at KFC. It was very packed becoz of the school holidays. I managed to get a seat very close to the smaller entrance at the other end of KFC.

Happy-happy, joy-joy, lil C and myself were enjoying and amusing each other with each gigs. I remembered there's this guy (I think he is a pilak) came to me and started raising his voice, "Hey, duit ko jatuh!!! (you dropped your money)" pointing the floor. I startled and looked at where he was pointing, and saw RM1 on the floor. I picked it up, wanted to give it to the man but he was no where to be found. Being a good Samaritan, kununlah, I gave the money to the KFC waiter and told him what happened.

So, lil C and I continued our lunch and.... the guy came back. He again, spoke to me rudely," Manah sudah duit sayah?(Where's my money?)" with that pilak accent again... I didnt want to look at his ugly face, told him that I have given it to the waiter. Then I noticed that he was gripping few RM1s on his left hand.. so, I thought that maybe it WAS his money that dropped to the floor... But it was wierd the way he spoke and approached to me...

After KFC, we went to Tongs Supermarket. Spent at least an hour there browsing and selecting some clothes; went to the cashier for payment.. My blood did rushed, as I was going through my bag (more like lil C's bagpack)... I couldnt find my purse. I stopped and started thinking again.. and searched... Nope... My purse wasnt there!!! I try not to panic coz I didnt want to lose focus on lil C. Told the cashier what could have happened and left the Supermarket.

Where could it be? Did I misplace it somewhere... ?? Taking a deep breath, carrying lil C in my arms... I thought I didnt go anywhere after KFC and that was the only time I took out my purse. Then, that pilak guy's wierd action struck me!!!! OMG!!! I had been picked pocketted!!!! SIALAN BETUL!!!!

I have heard stories about how people being tricked and the kind of trick used... but it never triggered me that at that point of time, IT WAS ME was tricked by them!!! They were so good coz they knew exactly how to distract their prey's attention..!!!

I did all the necessary.. reported to the security (which I think didnt help much as the idiotic, arrogant chief security told me that these happened almost every other day and the most of the victims were mother with young children.. He - the idiot - even dared to tell me dat he knew these bandits... ???? How come nothing is done???? cilakak betul!!!) Hadda call dear hubby to come to Wisma coz I dont even have a single cent to pay for parking fee..

Went to report the incident at the Police Station, my poor lil C was sleeping in the car. I told the officer about what happened.. They told me that the security department of Wisma Merdeka has never reported such cases to them, which they should have... So inefficient!!! How can our country develop if they behave like this, even the security system in our state is not proper!!

hmmm...

Well, I thanked God that my lil C and myself were safe when that happened.. Every other things can be replaced but not him nor my safety.

I even have friends who told me, "Barutau, itu la nda careful" which in my heart, i told myself that when it happened to you dear buddy, just be alert coz it can turn to a different outcome, beyond our expectation!

So, my dearest friends.. Just remember, Dont wait for something like things to happen... be alert at all time... especially when you are with younger kids with you.

p/s I even heard tricks like, that person is asking for the time, when u look at your watch, they snatch ur wallet/bag.
p/s another trick is when the person would rub your legs up and down motion to distract ur attention(wierd ~ but did happened to dear hubby, thank God he was alert and held his wallet tightly)

Keep in mind that They always work in group, sometimes it is also dangerous to resist.. SCARYY!!!
Dear Government, I plead you to BANTERAS ALL THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS!!!! Please!! For our safety!!
