Being above the influence, is about being yourself - and not letting people you into being less than you. Feeling pressure to drink, get high, have sex, or starve yourself just because you think you'll fit in better than you do - that's negative influence. It comes from the media, our friends and even people we dont know who subtly tell us what we should do.

You have the power to reject the negative influences that can bring you down. Being above the influence means seeing these influences for what they are, and making choices based on what's best for you. It's also about having positive influences in your life and knowing that you can be a positive influence on other people.

Cool eh? Anyways, some people think stuffs like this kinda boring! *^* That's cool to me, everyone has one's own ideas & preferences..... I agree with Yasmin, the storyteller has to say about coolness.. ;)
